In order to meet its current business challenges, Marseille Chanot has committed to a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. Our teams are constantly looking for solutions with two key distinctives:
Reducing the carbon footprint of our activity
- recycling (recycling bins located around the site, sorting area for large volume waste)
- reducing the energy consumption of our buildings (precise control of light, heating and air conditioning systems in line with requirements, etc.)
- planting programme underway across the site, with a focus on species suited to our climate
- sustainable communication tools (paperless office, LED screens, etc.)
- excellent public transport access (metro station at Marseille Chanot, Marseille Saint Charles TGV Station, etc.)
- selection of nearby hotels less than 10 mins walk away
- and more…
Encouraging our partners, suppliers and service providers to adopt these values and contribute to Marseille Chanot’s environmental commitments
- an emphasis on local suppliers to reduce their travel carbon footprint
- cleaning service using environmentally-friendly cleaning products
- local caterers, using short production chains and favouring local produce
Marseille Chanot is also committed to people and:
- promotes diversity and equal opportunities for our staff and partners.
- provides access for people with reduced mobility to all our exhibition areas and the Palais des Congrès
- participates in local society and culture (European Capital of Culture partner, Fiesta des Suds, Marsatac, etc.)
