2024 Olympics: Paris… and Marseille
The announcement was made at the beginning of the month. The Association Ambition Olympique board has chosen Marseille as the host city for sailing competitions, if Paris is selected in its bid to organise and host the 2024 Olympic Games.
The city of Marseille was chosen over Brest, Le Havre, Hyères, Morbihan and La Rochelle. The association’s experts, tasked with putting together Paris’ bid, visited the 6 potential host cities over the course of the summer.
