The Allure of the Seas in Marseille in 2015

The largest cruise liner in the world will be coming to Marseille in 2015.
From May 2015, the Allure of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships currently in operation with a passenger capacity of 5,400, will make 22 stops in Marseille as part of a seven-night Mediterranean cruise departing from Barcelona. “We’re thrilled that Marseille is a part of this new adventure,” declared Belen Wangüemert, CEO of Royal Caribbean International France & Spain.
“We could hardly contain our excitement when we found out that the largest ship in the world would be coming to Marseille. The arrival of the Allure of the Seas in our port is excellent news for many reasons and it will bring substantial economic benefits to the city and region,” commented Jacques Truau, Founding President of the Marseille-Provence Cruise Club.

Measuring 362 metres long and 66 m wide, the Allure of the Seas has sailed in the Caribbean since leaving the shipyard where it was built in Finland in 2010.
