The latest 2015 edition of the world-renowned Michelin Guide was unveiled yesterday in Paris, with great acclaim for Marseille.
Marseille cuisine will now boast two new Michelin star chefs: Alexandre Mazzia and Ludovic Turac.
Alexandre Mazzia, Head Chef at AM, already received recognition a few months ago, when he was awarded the “Grands de demain 2015” (Tomorrow’s Greats) prize by Gault & Millau.
In 2011, Ludovic Turac, Head Chef at the Table au Sud restaurant on the Vieux Port, took part in the second series of M6’s “Top Chef” for six weeks, but did not win the title. However, that didn’t stop him from receiving this prestigious first Michelin star.
From now on, anyone attending a convention or trade show in Marseille should make sure to check out the city’s two star-studded talents!
